Thanks to those residents and friends who participated on this walk, and congratulations to Lakewood resident and Lakewood Hospital employee, Vera Perez, who won the grand prize which consisted of gifts and certificates from downtown merchants valued at over $225.

Vera works as a billing specialist in the outreach laboratory at the hospital. She lives on Bunts and missed last year’s event because she was a new employee.  This year she brought along three recently hired co-workers who enjoyed exploring our shopping district.

Main Street Lakewood, Lakewood Hospital and the City of Lakewood were proud to present this event to encourage people who live and/or work in Lakewood to WALK as part of their daily routine. See you all again next year.
